In the heart of San Francisco, amidst the bustling city streets, lies a whimsical oasis where cake lovers unite for a one-of-a-kind experience. Welcome to Cake Picnic, where every bite is a journey through wonderland, crafted with love and creativity by Elisa Sung, baker from Salted Rye, and Alexandra Piper, lead planner from Earth and Events.
Inspired by the enchanting tales of Alice in Wonderland, our team at Earth and Events embarked on a mission to create an immersive experience like no other. Drawing from the rich imagery and whimsical characters of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, we set out to design a wonderland-themed picnic that would capture the imagination of our guests.
From the moment you step into Cake Picnic, you’ll be greeted by a world of wonder and enchantment. Picture-perfect picnic tables adorned with lush florals and whimsical decor set the stage for an unforgettable picnic experience.
Our menu at Cake Picnic is no menu at all but rather a menu created from each and every attendee. The event itself was free but each person was required to bring a cake. In just 24 hours, the event received 300 RSVP’s. So therefore, 300 attendees meant 300 cakes!! With so many different takes on cakes, we had an array of beautiful colors, textures, and designs.
But Cake Picnic is more than just a feast for the senses; it’s a celebration of community and connection. As you dine with friends and loved ones amidst the enchanting surroundings, you’ll find yourself immersed in lively conversation and laughter, forging memories that will last a lifetime.
Behind the scenes, our team at Earth and Events works tirelessly to bring the magic of Cake Picnic to life. From conceptualizing the theme and design to executing every detail on the day of the event, we pour our hearts and souls into creating an experience that is truly extraordinary. Our dedication to excellence and passion for creativity shine through in every aspect of Cake Picnic, ensuring that each guest leaves with a smile on their face, tummy full of cake, and a heart full of wonder.
